MANURE NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT AND ITS IMPORTANCE
Approximately
three-fourths of the nutrients harvested in crops grown on a farm, in the
purchased feed and supplements fed to the livestock may be recycled back to
crop fields in the form of manure.
Thus, manure nutrient management always has been and continues to be an
important economic consideration on farms with livestock or poultry.
Manure, when used as a fertilizer supplement, has
tremendous economic value as illustrated in the following chart.

Agri Analysis, Inc. Recommends the
Following Strategy:
1) If a farmer has not had their manure tested, make arrangements to have it tested at Agri Analysis, Inc.
2) A representative manure sample should be tested
at least one time per year.
3) The sample test report should be interpreted by
a professional.
Agri Analysis recommends our MP4 test
for Dairy Manure and the MP7 test for Poultry Manure. These
tests will insure all issues have
been addressed. The issues addressed will assist in making decisions for
proper field application.
We receive testimony after testimony from
professionals as well as farmers, stating "Why did I wait so
long to have my manure tested?"
